Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee the community's facilities, grounds and utility systems. You will supervise staff and contractors, manage the preventive maintenance program, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Required: high school diploma or GED; knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems; two years of maintenance experience in a large facility; strong communication with residents and staff. You will help control expenses and be on call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and A/C-HVAC equipment.
• Two years previous experience in a maintenance position, preferably in a large physical plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventative maintenance program for equipment.
• Inspect gauges and systems daily; log readings.
• Oversee grounds maintenance, pest control and housekeeping.
• Respond to emergencies; minimize downtime and wasted energy.
• Monitor budget and purchases within approved limits.
• Ensure safety, fire prevention and code compliance.
