Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Maintenance experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks and handle unpleasant conditions.
• Able to work flexible hours and respond within 20 minutes for urgent situations.
• Work with minimal supervision and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules using electronic facility management system.
• Repairs structural, electrical and mechanical systems; supervises staff and contractors.
• Diagnoses and repairs systems; ensures safe, clean work areas.
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs and manage priorities.
• Maintains confidentiality and upholds high professionalism.
