Job summary

The Waterford of Plano, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, building systems and safety at our Plano campus. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure preventive maintenance, manage safety records and coordinate repairs in independent living and assisted living areas.

Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety and state inspections is preferred. The role is on-site in Plano, TX with competitive wages and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
