Job summary

Saber Health Group in Ohio is seeking a full-time Environmental Services/Laundry Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility. You will oversee housekeeping, laundry, and facility maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and homelike environment in full compliance with Life Safety Code and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
• Must have previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Life Safety Code, building, equipment, grounds and utilities in good order per policies and regs.
• Provide clean, well-maintained, homelike environment and oversee laundry services per standards.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies; coordinate with administration and Maintenance.
• Direct overall operations of housekeeping and laundry in line with local/state requirements.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to ensure the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures. You will also provide a clean, well-maintained, and homelike environment and provide quality laundry services through directing the overall operations of the department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.

• Must have previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Varies

• Wage: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
