Job summary

Ambler Extended Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure the Life Safety Code, facility upkeep, and service quality. The role also oversees housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring a clean, homelike environment in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in environmental services or maintenance, with life safety experience preferred. This full-time position requires Monday–Friday shifts with on-call responsibilities and a wage up to $38.00 per hour based on

Position Summary:

As Maintenance Director, the primary purpose of your job is to ensure the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. As the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, you will also provide a clean, well-maintained, and homelike environment and provide quality laundry services through directing the overall operations of the department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration, Maintenance Policies and Procedures, and Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Must have previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.

• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.

• Life Safety experience strongly preferred.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p
