Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure the Life Safety Code, facilities, equipment and utilities are well maintained, while also leading housekeeping and laundry to create a clean, homelike environment for residents.

The role offers full-time hours with shifts Mon–Fri 8:00a–4:30p, on-call, and wage up to $38/hour based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare/hospitality.
• At least 2 years in environmental services, maintenance, or related trade.
• Life Safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Life Safety Code, facilities, equipment and utilities in good order in line with policies and regs.
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry to provide a clean, homelike environment and quality laundry services.

Position Summary

As Maintenance Director, the primary purpose of your job is to ensure the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. As the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, you will also provide a clean, well‑maintained, and homelike environment and provide quality laundry services through directing the overall operations of the department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration, Maintenance Policies and Procedures, and Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.
• Life Safety experience strongly preferred.

Shift and Wage

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p
