The Maintenance Director is responsible for all building maintenance operations and life safety compliance, coordinating repairs, and working closely with facility leadership to address

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or plant operations experience in SNF/LTC, healthcare, or similar regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of life safety systems, building codes, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• On-call availability as needed for emergencies.
• Basic computer skills for work order tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for the facility and grounds.
• Maintain compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations.
• Perform and track preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address deficiencies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for surveys and audits.
• Support emergency preparedness and disaster readiness plans.
