Magnolia Trails at East Lake, a Sonida Senior Living community in Tarpon Springs, FL, seeks a Maintenance Director to lead on-site facilities management and safety compliance. The role focuses on preserving a comfortable environment for residents and coordinating ongoing repairs across buildings and grounds.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and state inspections.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate repairs.
• Experience in property or senior living facilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and exterior repairs.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Oversees repairs to community equipment; trains staff to use it.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records; completes inspections required by state.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance, and garbage removal.
• Maintains the inside of the building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repairs to community equipment; ensures equipment functions properly and staff is trained to use it.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintains systems, and completes inspections required by state.

Qualifications:

• Maintenance experience preferred; familiarity with minor repair and maintenance techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
