Magnolia Trails at East Lake in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, facilities, and safety systems within a memory care community. You will manage repairs, equipment safety, and move-in readiness while ensuring state compliance and efficient operation of the building.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance leadership, collaboration with staff, and adherence to safety standards in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with minor repair and maintenance techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and HVAC systems required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance, and garbage removal.
• Maintains the inside of the building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repairs to community equipment; ensures equipment functions properly and staff is trained to use it.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintains systems, and completes inspections required by state.
