Job summary

Westmont Living's Westmont of Santa Cruz is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance operations at a brand-new assisted living and memory care community. You will manage building systems, safety compliance, and repairs to support resident well-being in a homelike setting.

The role emphasizes organization, multi-tasking, and hands-on maintenance tasks, with opportunities for training, competitive pay, and benefits as part of joining the team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws, and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Able to perform basic maintenance such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs; constant standing, walking and reaching.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 or must willing to get fully vaccinated.
