Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Director for our Westmont of Encinitas community. You will oversee maintenance operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, health laws, and safety codes, and lead a team to support our residents and facilities.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety systems and strong organizational skills, with ability to multi-task and manage routine repairs while maintaining safe, welcoming living environments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
