Job summary

The Oaks at Paso Robles is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of our assisted living and memory care community. You will manage maintenance operations to ensure safety, reliability, and a comfortable living environment for residents.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of state regulations, OSHA standards, and hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. This on-site role requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up and multi-task.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire systems.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
