Timbercreek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and ensure a compliant, sanitary, and safe living environment for residents.

You will oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and coordinate preventive maintenance while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and laundry services. A strong focus on communication and senior-care excellence is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in maintenance supervision in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings.
• Ability to supervise a maintenance team and coordinate activities.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Strong communication and professional presentation.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will also ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems. This position is also responsible for the provision of quality laundry service.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience of maintenance supervisory experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
