Job summary

Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance team in keeping the facility safe, clean, and compliant with applicable codes.

The role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and prior maintenance experience in healthcare settings. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits through Tutera.

• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
