Job summary

CountryHouse Residence in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry teams, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for residents, families, and staff.

You will supervise repairs, upkeep, and safety programs while driving efficiency and high service standards in a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on, dependable, and team-oriented leadership style.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and changing community needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry staff while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Keep our community running by maintaining buildings, grounds, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, vehicles, appliances, and equipment.
• Manage safety & compliance through inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and building requirements.
• Prepare for move-ins by ensuring suites are ready and coordinating maintenance needs for move-ins/outs.
• Manage vendors & budgets by working with contractors and controlling maintenance expenses.
• Support residents & staff by responding promptly to maintenance needs and creating a safe, welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do
