Job summary

Avantara St. Cloud is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance of the facility and grounds, ensuring safety codes are met and systems run smoothly for residents and staff.

As a key leader, you will supervise the maintenance team, implement scheduling, coordinate equipment upkeep, and help support a caring, high‑quality environment with emphasis on reliability and prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years facility maintenance experience.
• Five years Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Associate degree in Construction Technology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the facility and grounds to meet safety codes.
• Supervise maintenance department and ensure preventive schedules.
• Coordinate equipment and systems upkeep and reliability.

As a Maintenance Director you are critical in maintaining all internal and external aspects of the facility and grounds. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloud by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the facility and grounds meet all related safety codes and ensuring that equipment and systems maintenance schedules are monitored and followed. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience working in a facility maintenance capacity. Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and an associate's degree in Construction Technology or similar field is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
