Job summary

Avantara St. Cloud is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team, ensuring a safe and well-maintained skilled nursing facility.

You will oversee all aspects of the maintenance department and coordinate with other departments to uphold high standards of care for residents. The role requires prior maintenance leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting and an associate’s degree in Construction Technology or a related field, with a high school diploma as a minimum

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Construction Technology or similar field is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance department operations and staff.
• Ensure facility and grounds meet safety codes and regulations.
• Monitor and follow maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.

As a Maintenance Director you are critical in maintaining all internal and external aspects of the facility and grounds. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloud by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the facility and grounds meet all related safety codes and ensuring that equipment and systems maintenance schedules are monitored and followed. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience working in a facility maintenance capacity. Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and an associate’s degree in Construction Technology or similar field is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
