Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, OH, seeks a Maintenance Director to manage grounds, facilities, equipment and safety program. The role supports Independent Living and Assisted Living residents with reliable repair and upkeep, ensuring state compliance and safe operation of building systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with minor repair techniques for facilities.
• Knowledge of structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
