Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance operations for our Independent Living and Assisted Living community.

You will maintain grounds and facilities, oversee repairs, ensure safety and compliance, and prepare units for move-in and turnover. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
