Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, interior spaces, and equipment for a premier retirement community in Macedonia, OH. You’ll ensure safety compliance, coordinate repairs, and prepare apartments for move-in while maintaining high standards of care for residents.

Qualifications include maintenance experience and familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
