Job summary

Mountain Park is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead preventive maintenance and daily facility operations. You will monitor interior, exterior, and parking areas, ensuring safety and upkeep across the community.

You will develop maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety, supervise staff and vendors, and maintain compliance documentation. Strong problem-solving and prioritization are essential in this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a large community, preferably healthcare-related.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, fire safety codes, and life safety regulations.
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, cleaning equipment, and safety systems.
  • Ability to assist with resident evacuation and ensure environmental safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience supervising maintenance teams or vendors.
  • Familiarity with state licensing surveys and readiness procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a maintenance log with all work orders.
  • Oversee contracted services for elevators, landscaping, HVAC, pest control, and other vendors.
  • Ensure grounds, entrances and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Develop and train staff on fire safety and evacuation procedures; conduct fire drills.
  • Maintain safety logs, system tests, and compliance documentation.

Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance & Facility Operations

  • Safety, Compliance & Emergency Preparedness
  • Develop, implement, and train staff on fire safety, disaster response, and evacuation procedures per local regulations.
  • Conduct regular fire drills and maintain compliance records.
  • Maintain survey readiness by ensuring safety logs, systems testing, and compliance documentation are current.
