Campion Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school located in Loveland, Colorado, serves students in grades 9–12, offering a Christ-centered education focused on academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth. Our mission is to prepare students to serve God and humanity, and our campus staff play a vital role in supporting that mission through safe, functional, and beautiful facilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Director to oversee and manage the upkeep of our campus facilities, grounds, housing, and fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure that all physical operations run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with state regulations. This individual is a Seventh-day Adventist in good standing and will play a vital role in supporting the educational and spiritual mission of Campion Academy through diligent stewardship of our resources.

Responsibilities

1. Facility Management (Buildings):
   1. Collaborate with contractors and vendors for facility repairs and improvements
   2. Maintain and service HVAC systems
   3. Ensure all campus buildings are structurally sound and in good repair
   4. Oversee plumbing systems and repairs
   5. Monitor and maintain essential systems including fire alarms, security, and other plant operations
2. Grounds Maintenance:
   1. Maintain and repair power equipment
   2. Manage lawn care, landscaping, tree pruning, and fertilization
   3. Oversee snow removal from campus roads, sidewalks, and parking lots (including Church and elementary school lots)
   4. Maintain and repair campus roadways
3. Housing:
   1. Coordinate with the Principal and VP for Finance to maintain staff housing
   2. Prepare homes for new occupants during transitions
4. Transportation Oversight:
   1. Maintain Campion Academy’s fleet of vehicles, including vans and CDL-class vehicles
   2. Prepare vehicles for home leaves and other school-related transportation needs
   3. Drive for at least three home leaves and other assigned events throughout the year
5. Regulatory Compliance:
   1. Oversee compliance with Health Department regulations
   2. Serve as Master Meter Operator for the campus natural gas system and report to the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA)
   3. Ensure all natural gas systems are maintained according to state regulations
6. Leadership and Supervision:
   1. Supervise student maintenance workers in coordination with the Labor Coordinator (currently 8 students)
   2. Serve as summer administrator on duty
   3. Support the campus community by serving as a class sponsor and faculty family sponsor

Required Experience

1. Strong mechanical, technical, and organizational skills
2. Experience in facilities or maintenance management preferred
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
4. CDL license or willingness to obtain one
5. Commitment to the values and mission of Campion Academy and the Seventh-day Adventist Church
