Job description

Cape Fox, subsidiary Mountain Point, is seeking a Maintenance Database Administrator. The Maintenance Database Administrator is responsible for the development, performance, integrity, and security of the FEM (Maximo) systems for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The administrator will oversee and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while integrating data management tools. This role ensures the CMMS is fully operational, accurate, and optimized for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, data management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance maintenance efficiency. This team member will also assist with U.S. Army policy requirements to maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO). Other duties may be assigned as needed in the future by management.

Essential qualifications for this position include:

1. Administer and maintain the FEM database, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
2. Preventive Maintenance & Work Orders - Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset tracking.
3. Data & Reporting - Utilize Excel and Word to analyze system performance, create reports, and support decision-making.
4. Training & Support - Provide training and technical support to staff using the FEM platform and related data tools.
5. System Optimization - Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and IT teams to improve system efficiency.
6. Troubleshooting & Upgrades - Troubleshoot system issues, implement updates, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
7. Compliance & Documentation - Ensure compliance with company and regulatory maintenance standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
8. Technical Writing - Review and rewrite technical narratives and work scopes to facilitate streamlining of the maintenance effort.
9. Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform required maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.
10. Support and/or lead Systems training for team members.
