Job summary

Bickford Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to keep the branch clean and in good working order, ensuring a safe, well-kept home for residents. The role requires timely maintenance task completion, arranging service contracts, and managing preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting the quality of care for residents.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks promptly.
• Address maintenance issues and notify Director when outside services are needed.
• Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
• Complete items from Maintenance Request forms promptly.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Order supplies and chemicals as assigned.
• Respond to emergency situations using Bickford procedures.
• Ensure equipment is safe and in working order.
