Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator to uphold a safe, well-maintained branch and support resident well-being. You will manage maintenance requests, schedule preventive tasks, and coordinate service contracts while ensuring move-in readiness and strict safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and strong multitasking and communication skills. Full-time benefits apply, with daily pay options available.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting the quality of care for residents.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks timely.
• Address maintenance issues promptly and notify the Director when outside services are needed.
• Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
• Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms.
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.
• Identify emergency situations and respond using Bickford procedures.
• Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely.
• Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled.
• Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled.
• Perform emergency tests according to the PM Schedule.
• Ensure chemicals stored securely, labeled, and PPE worn.
• Ensure OSHA compliance while at the Branch.
• Complete tasks to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies.
