Job summary

InterAction24 is hiring a full-time Maintenance Coordinator for a high-volume commercial food production facility in Brooklyn, NY. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role with a genuine path to becoming a direct employee of the company.

You will own the CMMS, manage work orders, and coordinate preventive maintenance on a live production floor. The schedule runs Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years running a CMMS or work orders as a core part of your job.
• Experience in an environment with real equipment and deadlines: food production, manufacturing, warehousing, or healthcare facilities.
• Genuinely strong with computers, spreadsheets and systems.
• Organized to the point that it annoys people.
• Available all five days, Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• Reliable commute to Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

• Run the CMMS every day: create, assign, track, elevate and close work orders.
• Keep preventive maintenance schedules on track and coordinate them with technicians around a live production floor.
• Schedule vendor repairs, chase vendors, and track what they charge.
• Order parts and keep inventory at the right levels so a failure does not become downtime.
• Report on downtime, repair spend and parts spend, and flag the trends before they become expensive.
• Keep maintenance documentation clean and audit-ready.
• Be the single point of contact for maintenance during your shift.

THE SCHEDULE

Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Days off: Monday and Tuesday.

• You miss rush hour in both directions, every day.
• Fixed days, fixed hours, every week. No rotating shifts, no on-call roulette.

THIS IS A COMPUTER AND DATA ROLE, NOT A WRENCH ROLE

You are the organizational backbone of the maintenance operation. You keep work orders moving, PM schedules on track, and repair costs under control. You will not be doing the repairs yourself.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Genuinely strong with computers, spreadsheets and systems. This job lives on a screen.
• Organized to the point that it annoys people. Nothing falls through.
• Able to hold your own with technicians and vendors
• Available all five days, Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Reliable commute to Brooklyn

HELPS, BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Any named CMMS platform: Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM, UpKeep, Limble, Fiix, MaintainX, eMaint, FMX, Corrigo, Asset Essentials
• KPI tracking such as PM compliance, MTBF or equipment downtime
• Food safety exposure: GMP, SQF or HACCP
• Bilingual English and Spanish
