Job summary

Holly Poultry, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support daily maintenance operations and drive uptime across production lines. You will coordinate work orders, schedule activities, manage parts inventory, and facilitate communication between maintenance, operations, and external vendors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience in maintenance coordination, CMMS familiarity, and strong organizational/communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance support or coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and data-entry skills.
• Experience with CMMS or similar systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Completion of drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support efficient operations and minimize disruption.
• Maintain and update work orders in the CMMS, ensuring accuracy and timely closure.
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize work orders and ensure timely execution.
• Manage maintenance inventory, order parts, track usage, and maintain stock levels.
• Serve as point of contact for external vendors and coordinate scheduling and access.
• Maintain organized maintenance records and ensure compliance with procedures and documentation requirements.

Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator

Position Summary

The Maintenance Coordinator supports the daily operations of the maintenance department by coordinating work orders, scheduling activities, managing parts inventory, and facilitating communication between maintenance, operations, and external vendors. This role ensures maintenance activities are organized, properly documented, and executed efficiently to support overall production uptime.

Work Order & Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support efficient operations and minimize disruption
• Maintain and update work orders in the maintenance management system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closure
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize work orders and ensure timely execution
• Support troubleshooting efforts by coordinating communication, materials, and work order documentation

Inventory & Parts Management

• Manage maintenance inventory, including ordering parts, tracking usage, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Ensure all required parts, materials, and resources are available for scheduled maintenance activities
• Maintain organization and accuracy of parts room and storage areas
• Track and document part usage within the system

Vendor Coordination & Support

• Serve as point of contact for external vendors for maintenance-related services
• Obtain quotes, coordinate scheduling, and support vendor access as needed
• Ensure vendor work is aligned with business needs and scheduled appropriately
• Maintain vendor documentation and service records

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain organized and accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inventory records, and vendor documentation
• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented and closed out in the system
• Support compliance with company safety standards, maintenance procedures, and documentation requirements
• Assist with preparation of reports and documentation as requested

Communication & Team Support

• Facilitate communication between maintenance, operations, and support teams to ensure alignment on priorities
• Translate and communicate technical instructions and safety procedures to ensure clarity across teams (as applicable)
• Support a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and responsiveness

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Experience with CMMS or similar systems preferred
