Job summary

Lubrizol is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Avon Lake, OH to keep our operation safe, reliable, and productive. You will drive maintenance execution, coordinate people and parts, and partner with operations, reliability, and engineering to maximize equipment performance.

You will lead safety-driven planning, develop schedules, and support RCA investigations while mentoring technicians and coordinating external contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and reliability initiatives.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP maintenance systems.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
• Ability to coach and develop employee technical capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize competing demands.
• Commitment to continuous learning and evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance activities safely and in compliance.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work to improve reliability and uptime.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and support RCA investigations.
• Monitor OAU and OEE and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with planners to ensure maintenance materials availability.
• Develop and communicate daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and operations.
• Support capital projects with business justification and commissioning.
• Coordinate maintenance work by external contractors as needed.
