As a Maintenance Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping our operation running safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this highly visible position, you'll be the driving force behind maintenance execution, coordinating people, resources, and priorities in order to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Every day, you'll collaborate with operations, engineering, reliability, and maintenance teams to solve complex challenges, improve asset performance, and support the continuous improvement initiatives that power our manufacturing success. Champion a culture of safety excellence by ensuring maintenance activities are planned and executed responsibly and in compliance with site safety requirements.
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work that improves equipment reliability, asset utilization, and production uptime.
Partner with operations, reliability, and engineering teams to identify recurring equipment issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.
Monitor performance metrics such as Overall Asset Utilization (OAU) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and help implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with planners to facilitate the timely availability of maintenance materials and parts.
Develop and communicate daily and weekly maintenance schedules to optimize workforce efficiency and equipment reliability.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to maintenance technicians and operations personnel.
Support capital projects by identifying improvement opportunities, providing business justification, and assisting with commissioning and start-up activities.
Coordinate and oversee specialized maintenance work performed by external contractors as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five or more years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment, preferably within chemical processing or manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance activities and successfully executing reliability-focused initiatives.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP maintenance systems.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.
Ability to assess, develop, and coach employee technical capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to evolving technologies and maintenance practices.
Associate degree or technical certification in maintenance, industrial technology, engineering technology, or related field.
Previous supervisory, team leadership, or maintenance coordination experience in an industrial setting.
