Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to lead asset protection and push for higher equipment availability in a demanding chemical production environment. You will develop and implement asset strategies, perform risk analyses, lead RC/M analyses, and ensure CMMS documentation supports continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) and 5+ years in maintenance, reliability or project engineering in chemical facilities.
• Strong equipment troubleshooting, repair methods, and maintenance strategies.
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance workflows.
• Experience with pump and system curve calculations and vibration analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify critical equipment and Balance of Plant (BOP) through risk analysis.
• Develop and implement Asset Strategies aligned with criticality and business needs.
• Lead a 3-year reliability improvement plan with asset availability goals.
• Define and implement Equipment Maintenance Strategies for critical equipment and BOP.
• Support PPM reviews and optimize to reduce low-value maintenance.
• Evaluate condition monitoring techniques to enhance productivity and value.
• Ensure CMMS documentation supports evaluations of maintenance activities.
• Monitor asset reliability, maintenance data, and production loss data.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and RC/M studies using Weibull and FMEA.
