Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead facilities and housekeeping operations within our community. You will ensure a safe, clean, well-maintained environment for residents, families and team members while coordinating daily upkeep and responsive maintenance.

The role requires overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, staff training, and budget support.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or maintenance operations.
• Ability to lead housekeeping and facilities teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and building emergencies promptly.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety and risk management standards.
• Maintain life safety systems, alarms and fire protection equipment.
• Manage vendors, supplies and maintenance logs.
• Train team members on safety procedures and operational standards.
• Support department budget, expenses and operational efficiency.
