Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support building operations and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. You will complete assigned maintenance tasks and specialty projects while maintaining tools and equipment inventory.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance tasks, HVAC assistance, painting, and make-ready resident suites, with emphasis on safety and compliance. Join a team dedicated to quality of life for seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Familiarity with HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance per safety regulations.
• Comfort working in a residential community setting.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain tools, repair parts and equipment inventory
• Partner with vendors and contractors for specialty systems
• Perform preventative maintenance per safety regulations
• Participate in fire drills and disaster preparedness programs
• Support housekeeping functions as needed
• Ensure OSHA, life safety and Risk Management compliance
• Document work in maintenance logs and communicate resident concerns
• Assist with community vehicle driving as assigned
