Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support the site maintenance program, leveraging the Ultimo CMMS to optimize maintenance spend, asset reliability, and 5S implementation. You will partner with the Site Maintenance Manager to develop KPI dashboards, refine maintenance plans, and ensure PM tasks are accurate and timely.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, familiarity with CMMS software, and Lean 5S experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of maintenance coordinator or maintenance planner experience.
• Proficient in Asset Management System software (Ultimo preferred but not required).
• Lean 5S experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Leadership on building KPI’s that drive Ultimo utilization, efficiency, and reporting.
• Partner with Site Maintenance Manager in creating and sustaining maintenance plans.
• Ensure accuracy of PM tasks through feedback and observations.
• Review Asset Risk reports to support PM evaluation and standards.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities and 5S.
• Track, troubleshoot and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Create and execute supply orders to meet site needs as required.
• Communicate maintenance topics and metrics to local and regional leaders.
• Contribute to training to properly use the CMMS program.

Your role as a Maintenance Coordinator

Key responsibilities:

The Coordinator role supports the sustainable practice of all documented maintenance related activities via the Asset Management System software (Ultimo) for the site. This position will work closely with the site Maintenance Manager to ensure alignment in fully utilizing the Ultimo tool to improve maintenance spend, site reporting, overall maintenance efficiency and incorporating 5S principles.

• Partner with Site Leadership on building Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that drive utilization of the Ultimo tool, efficiency in Maintenance duties and accurate reporting.
• Partner with Site Maintenance Manager in the creation and sustainability of all maintenance plans.
• Ensuring Accuracy of PM tasks and other assigned work by seeking feedback and performing observations.
• Review all Asset Risk reports to support the PM Evaluation and validation processes as prescribed by the Maintenance System standards.
• Works closely with the Site Maintenance Manager to evaluate opportunities for Continuous Improvement, risk‑based process evaluation and 5S.
• Works closely with the Site Maintenance Manager to track, troubleshoot and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Can create, place and execute supply orders to ensure site needs are met if the need arises.
• Drives a consistent cadence of communication both verbal and written on Maintenance related topics and metrics for local and regional maintenance leaders.
• Work with the Site Maintenance Manager to develop training to properly use the CMMS program.

Experience

• 2-4 years of maintenance coordinator or maintenance planner experience
• Proficient in Asset Management System software (Ultimo preferred but not required)
• Lean 5S experience preferred

Education

• Associate’s degree or Technical Certifications preferred but not required
