Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Arlington, VA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead facilities and housekeeping operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, families and team members.

In this role you will oversee daily maintenance, respond to requests, manage life safety systems, coordinate vendors, and support budgeting and operational efficiency while upholding OSHA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and housekeeping operations across the community
• Respond to maintenance requests and building emergencies promptly
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure proper documentation
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and strong first impressions across all areas
• Support resident move-ins, room readiness and turnover processes
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety and risk management standards
• Maintain life safety systems, alarms and fire protection equipment
• Manage vendors, supplies and maintenance logs
• Train team members on safety procedures and operational standards
• Support department budget, expenses and operational efficiency

30.30 - 40.45
