Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily repairs and preventative facility maintenance in a senior living community. You will assist with routine repairs, safety checks, and upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, while ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The role includes painting/refurbishment support, inventory upkeep, and driving the community vehicle as assigned. Benefits accompany base compensation.

Qualifications

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance and respond to work orders to ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.
• Assist with routine repairs and safety checks to prevent equipment failures.
• Support ongoing upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory; ensure proper storage and safety.
• Assist with suite make-ready prep and coordinate with teams to minimize disruption.

Pay Range: 20.00 - 25.05
