The work involves regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, working in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20–50 pounds) items and occasionally very heavy (100 pounds or over) items. Exposure to chemicals, dust, fumes, cold, heat, noise, vibrations, or dampness may occur. Work may require exposure to dangerous equipment and machinery. Protective clothing or gear such as earplugs, hard hats, masks, gloves, insulated clothing, boots, and coats may be required. Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding is necessary.
