Job summary

Staffmark Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a Maintenance Associate to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will read blueprints and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues while performing preventive maintenance and repairs.

Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with pay in the range of $23.25–$35.25 per hour and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting
• Read blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges
• Understand safety precautions and hazard awareness
• Basic algebra/geometry and calculations
• Read metrics and bar graphs
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Speak/read/write English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems
• Inspect equipment and determine corrective actions
• Replace worn or broken parts
• Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and repair components
• Test installed, rebuilt, and repaired equipment
• Inspect safety features and machinery guarding
• Test and evaluate equipment performance
• Inspect pumps, fans, valves, and motors
• Order necessary maintenance materials
• Support environmental and safety compliance
• Follow established safety procedures
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned

• Test installed, rebuilt, and repaired equipment

• Test and evaluate equipment performance
• Inspect pumps, fans, valves, and motors
• Order necessary maintenance materials
• Support state and federal environmental and safety compliance
• Follow established safety procedures
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
