Staffmark in San Diego, CA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build electro-mechanical products per engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

You will read schematics, assemble with hand and power tools, solder where required, test assemblies, and maintain accurate production records while following safety standards. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $21.00–$23.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Experience Requirements

• Strong hand-soldering skills preferred
• Experience assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical components
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Duties

• Assemble electro-mechanical products according to engineering specifications and work instructions
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly documentation
• Perform wiring, cable assembly, and component installation
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to complete assemblies
• Test finished assemblies and troubleshoot basic issues as needed
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Identify and communicate quality concerns to supervisors
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturing standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Support production goals while ensuring product quality and accuracy

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
