RealAmerica has an immediate opening at our Ft. Wayne apartment communities.

The Maintenance Assistant will provide quality residential maintenance and customer service to ensure safe, quality living conditions and tenant satisfaction. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA designation, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of maintenance/repair experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA designation/certificate required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Two years of maintenance/repair in multifamily housing.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist with inspections when needed.
• Maintain property curb appeal and grounds
• On-call for emergency repairs as scheduled.
