Qualificações

• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on facility/equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting).
• Experience with heating and cooling units/systems (HVAC).
• Strong general maintenance skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with maintenance projects, repairs or audits as needed.
• Maintain grounds, facility and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Fill in when the maintenance director is on vacation or out of the building.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
• Perform routine physical labor tasks (posting notices, litter pickup, moving furniture).
• Clean up at end of day or upon job completion.
• Set up meeting areas for meetings/events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

At Meadowbrook Care Center, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of our 156-bed facility, located in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Director with various projects, repairs, and audits, as well as maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Your duties will include performing routine preventive maintenance, repairing or replacing defective equipment parts, and assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing.

Responsibilities
