Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director. You will help with projects, repairs, and audits, while maintaining grounds and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient facility for residents.

The role includes preventive maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing work, and light physical tasks. Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and high-quality care in a 156-bed facility.

Qualificações

• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment.
• Experience with service heating and cooling units/systems.
• Strong general maintenance skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with projects, repairs, or audits as needed.
• Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Fill in when the maintenance director is on vacation or out of the building.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
• Perform routine physical labor tasks such as posting notices, pulling weeds, picking up litter, and moving furniture.
• Clean up at the end of the day or when the job is completed.
• Set up meeting areas for meetings and events.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
