The position involves routine maintenance, minor repairs, and supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with preventative tasks while ensuring a hazard-free environment and timely responses to issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance.
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
