Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support daily upkeep, safety, and appearance of our senior living community. You will help maintain HVAC systems, building systems, and grounds, while adhering to safety guidelines and recording work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years HVAC apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–3 years maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to be flexible for occasional emergency response needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance, repair, & installation of HVAC systems.
• Assist with routine maintenance of building systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment.
• Follow safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with emergency repairs as needed.
• Help maintain organized maintenance records.
