Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support daily upkeep, safety, and the appearance of our senior living community.

You will assist with routine maintenance and respond to upkeep requests, perform minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks, and help keep maintenance records organized.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of facilities experience, and a practical, independent work style within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to be flexible for occasional emergency response needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs.
