Sunrise Senior Living in Norwood, MA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily repairs and preventative facility maintenance. You will perform basic repairs, assist with painting, and help maintain HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems to keep our communities safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
