Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time role supports our community by performing proactive and responsive maintenance to keep apartments and facilities safe, clean, and comfortable.

You will partner with the Maintenance Director, handle routine tasks, respond to requests, and follow safety rules. We offer benefits and growth opportunities, with a schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm and rotating Sunday-Thursday / Tuesday-Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• It's great if you've fixed things before, but we'll teach you if you're eager to learn.
• Know how to do preventive maintenance to stop problems before they happen.
• Work with others effectively.
• Pay attention to details and solve problems carefully.
• Care about making a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Fix both small and big problems to keep our community running smoothly.
• Do regular maintenance to make sure everything looks nice and is comfortable for residents and staff.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Director to update them on systems, issues and remedies.
• Quickly and effectively respond to maintenance requests to keep residents safe and happy.
• Keep your work area clean and organized, and always follow safety rules.
• Complete daily apartment cleaning.
