Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor in caring for our community's physical plant and grounds. You will help create a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Ideal candidates bring a willingness to perform upkeep tasks, familiarity with basic electrical/heating/cooling knowledge, and a commitment to our CARE values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family, customers and staff.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community's physical plant and grounds to ensure a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff and the public.
