Job summary

Senior Resource Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate in Tucson, AZ, working Thursdays and Fridays. You will handle day-to-day property operations and maintain the physical asset under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

Key duties include completing work orders, making ready vacant apartments, maintaining inventories, scheduling preventative maintenance, grounds work, and supporting special projects.

Qualifications

• High school education not required or minimal related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Make-ready vacant apartments under Maintenance Director guidance.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Perform grounds work and manage landscaping as directed.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for the completion of all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Director, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

• Less than high school education; or up toone yearrelated experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• As required by local and state regulating bodies.
