Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a maintenance technician to support day-to-day operations and maintain the property's physical assets under the direction of the Maintenance Director in Los Angeles, CA.

This full-time role offers growth opportunities, a competitive hourly rate of $24-$25, paid training, and a benefits package including PTO and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Complete all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by Maintenance Director.
• Work within expense limits established.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Director, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• As required by local and state regulating bodies.
