Senior Resource Group-SRG is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to manage daily operations and upkeep of a 363-apartment, 20-acre community in the Santa Barbara area. The role requires completing work orders and performing preventative maintenance under the Maintenance Director's direction.

The position offers full-time hours Tue–Sat, with a Friday shift from 10:30am to 7pm, and a pay rate of $23.25–$23.50 per hour. Benefits include paid training, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; up to one year related experience or training.
• Previous experience as hotel maintenance worker, or property management maintenance worker.
• Excellent hospitality skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Routinely performs maintenance throughout the property of 363 apartments, 20 acre campus with numerous common areas.
• Responsible for the completion of all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.

• Prefer Previous experience as a hotel or apartment complex maintenance worker
• Excellent Team Player who works well with minimal supervision
• Provides quality maintenance work in a timely manner
• Excellent hospitality skills, as most maintenance work is performed in the resident's apartment, which is their home
• Attention to detail is important
• High school graduate; up toone yearrelated experience or training.
• Previous experience as hotel maintenance worker, or property management maintenance worker.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• As required by local and state regulating bodies.
